X windows démarre une fois sur deux...

Bonjour,

J'ai un problème sur ma Debian 7 (Wheezy, noyau 3.16.0-4-686-pae). Lorsque je démarre, une fois sur deux j'arrive sur le login d'une console car X Widnows n'a pas démarré... Alors je reboot et XWindows démarre toujours au plus tard la seconde fois...

Cet après midi je ne peux pas venir à Murbach, come expliqué dans mon email, mais je devrais être de retour au prochain Murbach fin octobre...

Désolé de vous affliger mes journaux mais j'ai regardé et comme je ne sais pas vraiment quoi chercher alors je ne trouve pas vriament ce qui cloche... Certes il y a des messages d'erreur... Donc ci-dessous le log Xorg .

Bonjour.

Je n’ai pas vu de (EE) dans ton fichier de log. En général c’est symptomatique d’un Xorg qui ne veut pas démarrer. Le problème ne serait-il pas à chercher plutôt du côté du gestionnaire de connexion ?

Lorsque le phénomène se produit, que se passe-t-il si tu lances ton gestionnaire de bureau après le login par la console avec un startx ?

Bonjour,

Désolé pour le retard dans ma réponse, j'étais un peu beaucoup débordé par le boulot...

Merci pour la réponse. Effectivement je n'ai noté aucune erreur dans le fichier, je pense que c'est à cela que tu fais référence "juice" quand tu dis qu'il n'y pas de (EE) ?
Je n'ai pas encore essaye de lancer X Windows avec la commande startx, je la cherchais mais je ne me souvenais plus de son petit nom... Par contre j'ai lancé X qui semble aussi lancer X Windows, d'une certaine façon tout du moins, mais je n'ai jamais réussi à obtenir la fenêtre de login, seulement quelques warning pour moi non significatifs dans la console 1... J'ai cherché après cela des messages dans le log de X mais je n'ai jamais rien vu non plus qui m'interpelle...Au prochain plantage, promis j'essaie startx...

Par contre j'ai trouvé hier une erreur qui aurait pu expliquer ce problème. Mais en fait non car je l'ai eu à nouveau tout à l'heure... C'est que dans mon fichier /root/.bashrc j'avais un problème de paramétrage de mon PATH.Et donc certaines commandes root ne pouvait plus être lancées. J'ai corrigé le problème mais au final donc cela ne semble pas avoir eu d'effet bénéfique sur ce problème.

Je continue mon enquête...

Le problème est de savoir si c'est une erreur qui n'affecte que ton profil ou ceux des autres usagers.

Sinon tu peux essayer de virer le ~/.Xauthority, de regarder dans le ~/.xsession-error, dans les autres Xorg.N.log, de réinstaller bestialement les paquets de xorg au cas où, voire ceux de tout kde (dont bien entendu kdm que tu utilises sûrement).
Souvent un startx en console t'indiquera où ça a planté.

Si ça vient de KDE, une autre solution est d'installer MATE et de regarder si ça passe avec.

Bref, ce ne sont pas les indications ni les idées qui manquent, mais ce type de problème demande souvent un peu de temps de recherche. C'est quand même un peu surprenant, car les gestionnaires de bureau sont bien finalisés aujourd'hui, et ça fait un bout de temps que je n'ai plus vu ce genre d'erreur. Je soupçonnerai plus KDE qu'xorg en première approche.

Salut,

Effectivement un startx permet systématiquement de démarrer ! J'ai fais le test maintenant une bonne dizaine de fois... Par contre, comme cela démarre bien alors je n'ai aucune erreur dans la console du startx... En tout cas pour l'instant je n'en ai trouvé aucune.

Je pense donc plutôt à un problème sur le gestionnaire KDM, qui est effectivement celui que j'utilise. Dans la configuration des services KDE je n'ai pas trouvé le moyen de changer avec par exemple GDM. Il faut dire que je n'ai pas installé le bureau Gnome. Mais j'ai bien le souvenir d'avoir pu le faire, peut être sur une versio antérieur de KDE. J'utilise KDE version 4.14.2.

J'ai donc changé certains paramètres dans la configuration de KDM ("écran de connexion" dans configuration du système). Je vais voir si cela évite le bug et je vous tiens informé de la suite des tests.
